Tough is celebrating International Dot Day to commemorate Peter H. Reynolds' children's book, The Dot, which inspires people to be creative, courageous, and to "make their mark" !

Today marks the start of Hispanic Heritage Month! Conroe ISD is proud to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history and achievements of our district and the United States.

In recognition of Texas First Responders Day, Conroe ISD honors our police department and all of Montgomery County’s law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel. We appreciate their commitment to keeping our students and staff safe.

Today, on Patriot Day, we honor the memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and the remarkable bravery of those who responded in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania.

Destination Imagination (DI) is dedicated to inspire the next generation of innovators, leaders, and creative problem solvers. DI is a program that strives to teach problem-solving techniques while developing creative and critical thinking skills.

If your child is interested in making the commitment to participate, and you are willing to make the commitment to be a team manager or support your child’s team at Tough Elementary, please attend a Destination Imagination Information Meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 5pm in the commons.

Tonight, our kindergarteners had an amazing time at Camp Kindergarten! They set out on a fun scavenger hunt around the school, exploring different areas and getting a sneak peek at all the exciting places they’ll learn and grow this year.

But the best part of the evening? Meeting their wonderful teachers for the very first time! 💛 Here’s to a great start to their kindergarten adventure! 🎒📚✨
