School Security

Did you know that all elementary schools have a CISD police officer assigned to check in on the campus during the school day? Meet Officer Mark Davis!

Officer Davis is passionate about working with our school staff to mentor students and teach them about safe habits. He trains some of our 5th & 6th graders in the D.A.R.E. program, and works with our younger students during their PE classes on things like bike safety, memorizing important phone numbers and addresses, and what to do or who to call when you need help.

Officer Davis also inspects our building on a regular basis, checking that our outside doors are closed and locked, playground gates are secured, and our security cameras are functioning properly. One item that often comes up is visitors parking in the fire lane near the front doors. Please utilize the visitor parking spaces in our large parking lot off Crane Brook Dr. when dropping off or picking up children and other items during the school day. We want to ensure that emergency personnel and vehicles can quickly access the building in the event of an emergency.

And, don’t forget our CISD Police Department monitors and follows up on all information that is submitted through the KidChat hotline and Anonymous Alerts app. We appreciate all that Officer Davis and the CISD Police Department do for our community!

KidChat Hotline Please report any suspicious activity or suspected dangers to the appropriate authorities. Anonymous reports may be made 24/7 to Conroe ISD’s KidChat hotline at 1-888-KidChat (543-2428)
