GT students at Coulson Tough K-6 are served in every classroom through differentiation of the curriculum. Conroe ISD has adopted the use of the Texas Performance Standards Project (TPSP) which is used to provide enhanced academic opportunities.

Referral Requests
Referrals for Conroe Independent School District Gifted & Talented screening are accepted in the fall during the months of October – December. Testing takes place during the spring semester. In CISD, Kindergarten students are identified in late February and begin services in March of the same school year. Grades 1-6 are identified in May and begin their services in August of the following school year.
